Meet the Ranchers

Mahan Ranch is owned and operated by Weldon and Jennifer Mahan.  The Mahans are fifth generation Texans and have a long family heritage of livestock ranches in the Central Texas area. In 2013, Weldon made the decision to start raising Kuroge Washu cattle not only for its flavor but for the health benefits as well. Mahan Wagyu cattle are produced on a 2,500 acre Mahan Land & Cattle, Inc. Ranch near Silverton, TX and the Palo Duro Canyon.

Ranch & Trail is partnered with Mahan Ranch, an expansive 2,500-acre ranch near Silverton, TX, nestled close to the Palo Duro Canyon. Our beef comes from cattle that roam freely near the Texas Panhandle. We're genuinely delighted to bring the goodness of our 100% Full-Blood Wagyu meat straight from our Texas ranch to your dinner table, barbecue, or family gathering.

Our beef is raised using techniques to achieve a better standard in beef quality and taste, creating a melt-in-your-mouth experience that's truly unlike many "Wagyu" flavor profiles.
